Works to the park will be taking place from Wednesday 27th June 2018 and it is anticipated it will take up to 2 weeks.
The works being undertaken is the widening of the lower path which runs from Burley Road carpark and resurfacing and repairs to the upper path off towards Church Street. This will coincide with the installation of a barrier gate at the entrance to the park at the junction of Station Road and Burley Road.
During this time, access to the upper paths will remain open from Station Road.
We hope to cause minimal disruption to local residents and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Any queries regarding the above please contact

As well as tending the grounds your Council also provides and maintains the play equipment in all three parks. All the equipment is regularly maintained and inspected for safety. However occasionally something is damaged or goes wrong. If you see any damage we will be pleased if you will let us know by contacting the Clerk on 01572 723627 or by e-mail: email@example.com. This way we can all help to ensure the equipment is safe for our children to use.
Throughout the summer the bandstand in Cutts Close is regularly put to good use by ‘Bands in the park’ on Sundays, funded and hosted by Council. We also host family fun days and similar events and provide facilities for other organisations’ events, all helping to make Oakham a pleasant place to live.
We listen to what you tell us and where possible act. You have told us that the footpath in Cutts Close from the car park is not very good. We plan to widen and resurface this in the near future.
Oakham Town Partnership runs the Oakham Farmers Market on the 3rd Saturday of each month in Gaol Street.MORE INFORMATION
